Description

Start your trip with a visit to Masaya Volcano where you will hike to the volcanos rim, explore the lava caves and learn about the local flor and fauna from the National Park Guides. After a couple hours we head into the town of Masaya for lunch and a visit to the artesanal market. After a traditional Nicaraguan lunch we will stop by an old military base called El Castillo de Coyotepe where you can go below into the tunnels and see the old torture chambers and prison cells before heading back to Managua.
